How to share private photos with your partner, safely
Why messaging apps and shared albums aren't ideal for private photos, and a safer alternative.
Private photos sent through chat apps end up in chat history, backups and sometimes camera rolls. Shared albums are tied to your cloud account and are easy to open by accident.
A safer way
- Both install TwoSafe.
- One of you opens Settings → Together → Invite your partner and sends the code.
- The other draws their own pattern, taps Join partner's safe and enters the code.
From then on, anything either of you adds appears for both, encrypted on each phone. Our server only stores scrambled data it can't read. How partner sharing works.
Good habits
- Use a pattern only you know, different from your phone passcode
- Turn on auto-lock
- Keep your recovery phrase written down somewhere safe
