What end-to-end encryption means for your photos
A plain-English explanation, and how TwoSafe uses it.
End-to-end encryption means data is encrypted on your device and only decrypted on the devices of the people it's meant for. Servers in between only ever see scrambled data.
In TwoSafe
- Each safe has a random 256-bit master key
- Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they're saved
- When you share with your partner, the master key travels inside the invite code, never through our server
